Cloak Host provides affordable and reliable web hosting solutions to web proxies. Web proxies are websites which allow browsing of any website, particularly useful for accessing sites blocked by content filters and firewalls at organizations, schools, workplaces and ISPs.

Do you own proxies or looking to start some? Then perhaps you know it’s not easy to find quality web hosting for proxies as they consume too much server resources (CPU and RAM mainly) and a lot of bandwidth. Many webmasters end up hosting proxies on shared hosting servers and are suspended in no time as it’s against their company’s policies. We have seen many proxy owners bouncing from one host to the other but service remains as poor as ever - downtime, very slow load times and many more problems to deal with.

Buying a VPS or dedicated server isn’t an option for many starter proxy webmasters due to their high costs and lack of server administration knowledge. That’s why Cloak Host came into existence - we host only proxies on our servers. Cloak Host as it’s name suggests, specializes in php proxy hosting and targeted towards hosting proxies and nothing else. As proxies use up too much system resources, quality proxy hosting is costlier. We have designed our proxy hosting plans to strike a balance between server performance, affordability and service so that proxy owners can enjoy cheap, trouble free proxy hosting.

Maybe you’ve come across companies who offer proxy hosting plans with outrageously high specifications at less than $5, but have you wondered if it’s possible to sustain at all? Such companies go bust in months, but we can’t afford to do so by any means. We strive to make proxy hosting an enjoyable experience; we simply don’t promise what we can’t deliver. We keep a close watch on server resource usage and limit the number of proxies on a server to a practical and sustainable level.

I thought you would have limited per account per server based on technical levels, not practical ;)

Also, you do know that once the feds crack down on " cloak hosts " your going to be an easy target?

I run my own servers.... Im asking if people have had there servers disconnected.

Shared hosting is horrible for proxys.

This debends how much you use resources and make revenue. If you're revenue is 0$, don't even think about dedicated. If it's 150$, you'll of course need dedi. Just what you need.

I think that the dedicated server for proxy is a good idea, but you must pay not small cash for it... now depends, how much bucks you want to invest to it :)
