FREE FTP software

I goot FTP program is WS_FTP, I have always used it. Just search Google, you'll find it

Well, the best program for FTP it is smartftp. You cant go over it, under it. It is just the most best program. Smartftp got's lots of options and it is really good. My self I didnt have anything, that I won't to do, but couldn't do with it. It is also easy to use and it saves a lot of time.

I use smartFTP when I want to edit files without saving it to my desktop but I prefer iFTP to upload as it is doesnt use as much resources as smartFTP or anything else.

I use SmartFTP and sometimes my own FTP access you get with cPanel. Try searching on Google, your more likely to get some answers there.

Did you mean that cPanel come with is own FTP access and I can used it to upload edit my files. Where can I find the FTP from cPanel?

You really have to go with fireftp....the firefox addon for the best FTP software.

Integration into your web browser makes it so much better than a standard FTP client.

Also, as much as I dislike IE....it really does have the best FTP integration....with all the drag drop, and integration into windows explorer.

I feel that the best FTP program is smartftp. You cant go wrong with it. It is just the dummy proof ftp their is out. Smartftp has got loads if not to many options and it is really useful.

Another vote for filezilla, sure it is not the prettiest ftp client out there but it is free and open source and it does the job. The only thing I dont like about it is the lack of ability to have multiple FTP sessions on the go.

Those who doesnt have cPanel or DA for them its a great file manager :)

for me, even i have cPanel but i still using this service as better than cPanel file manager

i think the best free FTP programs are CoreFTP and SmartFTP. I never used any other coz those 2 are the best!

I too use SmartFTP. When I started using FTP programs, I tried a couple and this was the easiest to use, so have stuck with it for over 2 years now.

The trail lasts for ever, and I've always had good connections and found it easy to understand. chmod was one thing I had never heard of before, a just the right-click of the mouse on the directory, and there it was.

Never did find the option in CuteFTP.

8.5/10 I give it.

I think torrent is much better than ftp's. Ftp's is too slow. In Torrent you can find much more files, music, games, films and other soft. ;)

I always use smartftp on windows and gftp on linux. They are fantastic :)
I tried filezilla a year ago but I don't like it especially on linux because it crashes many times :(

If you want ftp for downloading i preffer Total comander or fireftp. Fireftp is firefox addon.
