Forum: Google Page Rank Update

Is it that much value to buy a PR ranked domain? I think it probably would be for the traffic, but I've found that PR and traffic don't always match. Also without the site, wouldn't it die out?

Is this situation ever possible, that one of your inner pages has got the pagerank before your main home page has got it? or whether your inner pages has more page ranks than your main domain? Just curious whether someone has this situation!

I am interested in your Pagerank 5+ websites. Do you have a very high Pagerank? Do you benefit from it? (search engine rankings/link sales) Please let me know thanks.

I have a site with PR 3. Is it possible for google to reduce my ranking from 3 to 0 becasue some in-bound links to my site have been removed. Any advise will be of great help. Thanks in advance.

I have seen that in a post some one has posted saying that his website has been parked by the PR tool or google. What does it mean? Does the website get banned by google?

It seems Google is updating PR now. For the last few days I have noticed some of my articles and sites getting fresh PR. May be this June 2009 PR update :)

I think that getting more traffic will help in getting much better PR. So there are many softwares which increases the traffic in the site. I think people could install it and could benefit from them.

I guess for really popular keywords, PR comes into play, but I have page 1 spots for several and my PR is only 3. There has got to be higher rated sites than mine. How does PR relate to SERPS? I know it's a closely guarded secret I guess, but what has been your experience?

When google assesses your page rank does it take links in other search engines in to account or only the links that are in google. For example. In google I only have 5 backlinks. But... In Yahoo I have 1300 backlinks - would google take these links in to consideration?

Yahoo and Google are hands down two of the largest, if not the largest, internet businesses and services out there. Why is Yahoo a PR9? They obviously have enough backlinks to get a ten, no doubt, so why doesnt google "let" them be a ten?

I received a huge success in page rank from July's update. All of my sites (except the few that I do nothing for) got PR 1-2. They are now making $$ for link placement and more. I hope to reach Pr 4+ on most of my blogs, it will definately bring up my rank. Maybe I will invent in a PR8+ link.
