Anyone use Aardvark Topsites script ? I like to know your experience with it if you have used it. Normally topsite script takes lot of bandwidth if their banners are showing in many sites. Once i got a problem with this script about it keep loading even it finish load the whole page.

I've looked at it a couple times. I would also like to know if anyone has any experience actually running it.

The trick to the banner is to make sure it's optimized a lot and not too complicated. The bigger it is file wise, the more bandwidth it will take. I noticed that some have started to offer text links rather than graphics, so that's an option. Either way, it's no where near what a proxy server would take.

U have used Aardvark Topsites PHP for nearly an year now. What I have to say is that if you have a older version then get it updated to the latest as soon as possible. there is bug in old version which would cost u lot of bandwidth as a sudden bandwidth surge.

I used Aardvark for awhile. My topsite grew pretty fast and my host (before I went dedicated) had to shut it down because it used to many resources. Never had a problem with bandwidth though.

Great script considering it's free!

yes it sometimes start eating up CPU resources. Its a great script hope it would get better. Latest script is 5.2 and its more stable than those older scripts. Anyway if you are running a top site list you have to watch its resource usage and bandwidth closely .
