Default How does domain backorder work?

Hi all i wanted to ask how does the domain backorder work? When i backorder it i will get it as soon as its free or there will be something like an auction for it etc. Could anyone explain it to me

when the domain gets released the will catch and register that time

but it is not easy because so many users will try

That interests me most. If alot of users are trying it so the first to catch gets the domain right? Or there is any kind of auction going?

Most domains go to auction before they are dropped. Let me rephrase - most good domains go to auction.

Different domain registrars use different companies to auction off their domains. Godaddy, uses tdnam.com for example. So if you are eyeing a domain that will soon expire, do some research to find out the registrar and who they use for their auctions. If the auction produces no bids, the domain will drop.

Just as registrars use different places to auction their domains, they also have agreements with drop catching companies. Do some research on this as well...

Are there any lists of domains which are for the auction with a certain host?
