Cpanel issue

hi all,
my recently purchased directory is being stored for the moment on a free hosting account.
it won't remain so for long, but for the moment i have a problem with cpanel's Awstats.
How do i get it to update whenever i want to or on a more regular basis.
for the moment it updates about once a day.

Sorry I dont have clear idea about this problem. My friend his hosting a website, he is very good in solving those problems, so i'll refer him and post the solution as soon as possible.
