I currently use wordpress but want to move to a more complex plus feature rich environment.

The best CMSs are Joomla, Drupal and Xoops (my first CMS) but I advice xoops because its development team creates a fantastic "node" of local support sites *italian, spanish, german..).

Joomla is the best but is not easy to handle also its far more complicated for a starter than Xoops. Also If you use SMF forum then you can use Tinyportal thats good too.

Joomla is best CMS for general purpose site and lot of mods r there so u can d anything. It's opensource and free too but if u want a forum with portal then above mentioned tiny porta with SMF is best option.
