Hey guys, was wondering if somebody can help.
How do I go about coding a site like this: http://www.hugthetrees.com/ basically its like as you click the button the number goes up, but you need php & SQL, and I don't know those. If somebody could help I'd be appreciated. I asked the original creator, he started to send the script to me then canceled at the last second and signed out of msn, no doubt banning me ![]() Thanks, Adam |

I'm not gonna write you the script, it will get all the fun out of the game
![]() But i will help you. You don't need mysql. all you need is love (just kidding) you need PHP. Use this guide to learn about write to a file: http://www.php.net/fwrite and this to read: http://www.php.net/fread Now all you need is to create a new file, and enter the number 0 in the file, save the file and close it. Use what you've learned to fread to read the number from the file and then use fwrite to write a new number that will be the number you read + 1. that all there is to it. By the way you need to know HTML as well. Enjoy, Alex Rubin |
