What number of column do you prefer to use when it comes to designing part? Should be 2 columns or 3 or maybe the overly crowded 4 column design. Personally I prefer 3 column design so that I can use a column for the content, another column for ads and the last one for site navigation.

I use three columns too. I think anything beyond that is kinda not-good to look at. So I stick to three cokumn pages.

4 column designs are extremely taxing on the eyes, because there is just too much information on the screen. I personally prefer, and stick, with 3 column themes for the same reasons stated above.

2 to 3 depending on what look your going for. i always use both of these options, anything more is hard to look at and puts the viewer off.

Depends what your content is. If it requires a lot of reading, limit the columns. Advice above is good. Anything more than three is pretty much a joke.
