Choosing dedicated servers.

If you've been looking for a dedicated server on the net, you probably noticed a ton of ads for them. If you're not really computer literate, you probably don't understand what a dedicated server is. With dedicated servers, you host your own website and you have total control over it.

If you're looking for a dedicated server, purchase it yearly, not monthly. This is a better deal and you'll want that. Dedicated servers are anything but cheap. Even though it will cost a lot, in the end, it will cost less.

The risk with paying annually is that they could go out of business or the server could become obsolete. You'll most likely be stuck with them for the rest of the year that you paid for.

Do research[Google is your friend!] to find the best dedicated server. Remember to choose quality first. Servers sometimes go down so you want a provider that provides good support. Check on the web to see if the provider you're choosing has a good history with their support.

If you can't choose one, try asking someone that has a dedicated server. A lot of website owners have one. Ask them which they recommend. For example, TAZ[theadminzone] recommends LiquidWeb, which is where they got theirs from.

I guess I would recommend one from HostGator or LiquidWeb.
I've only heard good things about LiquidWeb, mostly from TheAdminZone.
As for HostGator, I checked out the features and it's as good as their prices.
