It's important that their support is good. Sometimes your server could go down and you want to be able to ask someone for help, preferably the provider since it's their equipment and they should know how to fix it best.

You'll want a dedicated server with a good amount of bandwidth. That's what allows bulk amounts of visitors to go to your site. With a dedicated server you won't need to share the bandwidth so you can get more visitors to your site.

Same thing with space. You'll want a dedicated server that has a good amount of space. The more space you have, the more sites you can have. The more sites you have, the more revenue you get[if you decide to run ads or sell products].

You shouldn't mind the price. Dedicated servers are expensive and if you're concerned about prices, maybe you're not ready for one.
