Yahoo directory

How many of you guys are willing to pay Yahoo to be listed in their directory? For me I see no benefit from being listed there as I am sure it will not bring much traffic anyways but will of course improve backlink.

I would pay that huge money. I'll probably buy good PR links with this budget. I think these will be better than listing.

I see. I would also like to be on yahoo's directory but at that price I think is better spent on buying some links.

Maybe you should look up peoples experiences with yahoo directory. I have heard some great things. Many people I know have great experiences with yahoo.

I would pay little, but if it was google, that's a different story

It's too pricey in my opinion... If I had a budget that would allow me to buy links in the directory each year, I'd go buy permanent links instead. For those who do buy from Yahoo directory, do you guys get a lot of traffic from it? Or is it just for the high pr link?

The only problem with the yahoo directory is that there is no guarantee of even being accepted. I could easily spend that 299$ on advertising elsewhere and generate an equal or greater amount of traffic.
