Mysql is best, Oracle is for very huge companies.

i am using php mysql combination

this is the widely most popular scheme adopted so far as they are free

My choice would be MySQL. Because I am a programmer in PHP, I always use the first thing that is available, and what I know about. Despite the fact that PostgreSQL databases may be more advanced in some respects, I still use MySQL as its easy to use and that's the DBMS that PHP primely uses for connections and queries, etc.

MySQl is wat i use bt i am plannin to use sqlserver 2005 too its memory hoggin havent tried oracle though

I am using Mysql...it is the best database software...which is very ease to use and work with...so mysql is the best recommended database software

I'm using MySQL 5.1 which is far better than anyother database programs. You will feel better once you used to get it and work on it.. Try it,,,, All the best..
