Which one do you prefer? I've studied VBScript before and used it in some websites, but I have forgotten it since then and want to re-learn it. But I don't know if I should learn VBScript or javascript.

VB Script and Java script are same rather change into syntax and header area where we specify the script type as java or vb. if you already know VB script then i think you should not worry for Jave script.

an important difference I have observed is that JavaScript is case sensitive but VBScript is not this would not be prone to as many syntax errors. I use them both , but I would prefer to go with VBScript

It would be better for you to learn both the scripts , as they will really help you while designing your own web .

I would definitely go with javascript as I have never tried vb script and Its easy to find javascript over internet for any solution very few user uses vbscript so you wont be able to get help in case you are in trouble.

i would vote for JavaScript as is got better compatability across all the platforms and you need not worry of the program behaving erratically in different OS. The scope of VBScript is very limited outside windows environment.
