The rates are quite high even with the bonus code you offered. There are alot of registrants where you could get domain cheaper and looking more reliable.

About the price it's your opinion so I am not going to dispute. We compare directly with godaddy who charge retail $9.99

About our reliability: Have you ever used our service to pass such judgement? I bet you have never used us before because if you have you would have left different feedback.

Passing judgment on a service that you have not even used is borderline to ignorance, with all due respect.

Yeah. Even with that coupon the domains are still way above what I would ever pay for a register.

Default About your domains

I can understand Omas's reasoning. You are a small site, using a system that many other sites use (therefore more vulnerabilities are exposed) and you charge the same rates as a site like godaddy.com (a large, reliable site). Your site may be good, but no one is going to pay the same amount for a larger risk, right?

The front end we use is from AWBS and so far we have not had a problem as we run it on three of our domain registration and hosting sites. We have never had a breach of any kind and even if there was a breach, domains are locked at the registrars and we do monitor activities closely.

In total we have over 3000 active customers registered with us, some are established and recognized names. We do not compete and cannot compete with big companies like Godaddy or Namecheap but we've been around isnce 2000 and some people who recognize the name 1Coms stay with us and recommend us to their friends. Our pricing is set to match Godaddy and Namecheap simply as a courtesy to our existing customers who were happy to pay $12 per domain registration and renewal up to a year ago since I personally took over.

We aim to continue serving our existing customers and new ones on a smaller scale where my partner and myself can ensure quality of service.
