I will surely prefer three column layouts because it will look attractive and we can use each column for different use and visitor will feel confort on viewing the page.

I think for me, it depends on how much information I am trying to present. If there is a lot, then 3 columns works, but if it's not that much, 2 column works better.

3 column blogs look really grate. They have the content organized and the sidebars look professional, it's as if all the thing are at their right place. Also I think having 2 sidebars gives the reader the impression that the content from the sidebars is also important, and that is a really important thing.. right? :P
