Default Good way to learn progarmming

Well a c++ programmer told me that the best way to learn a code like c++ is to start at the basics. php he said is what you sould start with then once you learn php (witch is pretty simple) then it will be easyier to learn html (because theres only a lil bit of changes) then javascript and then c++ if you can manage.

well you are totally on a reverse direction,
1) you can't understand the basics of c++ if you have not learned C
2) learning PHP before HTML is anothe mistake,
HTML is the base PHP is needed to spice up HTML and not reverse.

if i was to suggest you would suggest learn

C --> C++ --> HTML --> JavaScript --> PHP

this will be the best course of action and also if you wish to add java in between (remember Javascript and JAVA are two seperate identity.) then add it after C++,

The first two step will make you fit to get flying with any language as your concepts will be clear.

I hope you get my point

I agree with the above. PHP is an additional language set to HTML. It would be difficult to learn it without HTML first.

Not sure all of your progression is necessary to start working in PHP. A solid understanding in any language's programming concepts is helpful, but since PHP is such a language, one could start there. A course that would teach similar concepts could replace the C and C++.

Whats the point of learning C++ when you want to learn PHP?

My choise would be HTML -> PHP
Could include javascript after HTML if needed
