What do you think about forum marketing

Do you think this method can help you make sales or boost your traffic. I have try forum marketing for quite a few times but not really give any impact to me so far. What is your opinion?

Do you know any popular forum beside DP, Warrior and Namepros. Forum marketing is work well when you practice at popular and well known forum. Anybody can recommend to me ?

According to me it is one of the best ways to advertise yoru site. Signature link is very good tool to make marketing and even forum posting is a good way too. But it really depends on the forum and how much traffic it is having.

Sorry this one sound new to me. What do you mean by forum marketing can boost up your traffic. How does it work? Please anyone?

I never heard we can promote something on forums, as most member might don't want to get those ads in forums, do you think so ? unless there are some special forum for products, you might can use it.
