Default What makes visitors go away from webpages?

Here.. I am accumulating a list of the factors that cause visitors to leave webpages while browsing-

1- Very High Loading Time
2- Difficult Navigation System
3- Bogus Content
4- Too many ads
5- Difficult to get used to layout

As a web surfer i hate popups and too many ads but that don't prevent me from visiting the site again if it is useful , i think that poor content is what makes the visitors go and never come back

Clutter. I prefer clean simple sites.

Difficult to get used to layout

i would say the primary thing is theme..If it isnt appealing..who will stay to look?

All of these are excellent reasons. Here is one more...

Not giving them a reason to stay. Even if all of the ither things are in place, if a visitor has no reason to stay, then they won't.

Some of the things mentioned relate to this idea, because you have to grab each visitor fast.

I would say very bad design and too much of ads, very irritating more graphics and difficult to load pages, and most importantly content is of no quality to be useful to them.

I can live with a lot, but I think content is what turns me off. If there is nothing to read beyond the ads, then it's pretty much useless.

By my point of view the main factor that makes visitors to go away from web page is bad presentation of text and getting into too much of links which makes the visitors to feel irritative because of time expense.

Personally what keeps me away from sites are popup ads and bad colour combinations.

If your site is hard to look at no-one is going to bother.

The main reason is difficult to get use to the layout of the website. If the layout of the website is not good then not much visitor will give attention to your website.
