need help in choosing a script

need some help with choosing a script.I want to start a site that has info about colleges in my locality,the site will have several pages with one or two pages for every college.The page includes pictures and other details of the respective college.

the site may have a few hundred pages,so i am looking
for a script that allows me to add pages upon will ,and also that supports multiple users(with power hierarchy) ,a forum integration(smf/phpbb/mybb) will be very good but is not mandatory.

and finally as i don't intend to make any profit from all this,can someone please suggest a free script

i think you need here a CMS like joomla this will make an ease on developing that kind large site. If you haven't play with joomla try it now.. you will love it

yes exactly.. joomla works super fine for such things.. u must try it.. it saves u from many headaches really..

if your are using cpanel that will easily solved your problem because its just one click away to joomla.. or you might also try DRUPAL for that kind of site

Nah lol, dont try Drupal, joomla is the way to go. Joomla has more templates, features, ad-ons, components, and is better all around.

do u have cpanel?
