Hosting abuse

Could you please advise where I can submit report abuse if I have any troubles with my hosting in the future?

What kind of abuse do you mean in this question? If you are referring about reporting bad performance then I think you can report it to web hosting blogs/review sites so that others can be more careful.

please let us know what kind of trouble or problem you are having with your web site.... is some one posting some abuse material on your site.... or you want to report high down time of your server... there r different ways for reporting sifferent issues... so please be clear in your terminology....

Depends what kind of abuse it is and what company, you can try the FTC or BBB.

Usually, every host has a special department for dealing with abuse reports. You should find more info on how to report service abuse in the "contact us" or support section of the host's site.

Well you are a web hosting provider or a web hosting user ? Usually its web hosting providers face abuses. So to prevent those better make a good TOS pointing out all things which shouldn't be done with your hosting. Then you can ban accounts which they use for wrong purposes.

You could always try the obvious - abuse@hostname.com. Or if its a more serious issue, you could try contacting the datacenter. But don't abuse that.

Please specify the type abuse you want to report. By the way you will always get some email address in contact us or help page.
Some hosting services also have ticket system where your complain is given a ticket no. as refrence for future talks. You can access the system from the help page.

You can trace the IP of the person who abuse your site and check its whois record and mail to the email id appears in SPAM/ABUSE complaints section of the whois of IP address. Mostly all ISP takes serious actions by suspending users on getting complaints.
