Adsense in subdomains

I'm running adsense on my site. Can I run adsense on a subdomain of the same site without asking google? Secondly, will google consider the subdomain as a separate site or the same site? If the traffic conversion of the subdomain is poor, will my main site suffer?

You can use it not only on subdomain but on other domains also as long as they obey TOS provided by them.

You better ask Google a review everytime you want to display ads and change your layout. It's make you easier & more confident to place an adsense widget.

I think that there are no difference on which domain name you have been using for adsence. I have seen lots of ads on the third level domain names.

Don't Break the TOS. There are certain requirements, which you will have to fulfill, before you can implement the Adsense Code in your sites

i don't think there is a problem with that. i think you can just post it anywhere as long as you dont click on your ads.
