Most customizable blog software

What do you think is the best blog software that's easy to customize? I haven't had much experience with blogs so I'm thinking of starting one. I know wordpress is very popular, but I'm looking for ease of customization instead of just.. large variety it would be great if there was a script built in to change the themes/modules etc. without having to completely change the files.

I would have to say hands down wordpress is the best customizable blog software out right now that you can get. Plus it has an awesoem reputation.
