Disadvantages of Chrome
Chrome is getting popularized only because of the name " GOOGLE " if it is not it would not even be considered as a choice. Privacy is the greatest problem in the case of chrome. Firefox is far apart in case of privacy and security.

yes i agree with you chrome is popular because of the name google but i liked chrome much more than firefox

yeah i tried chrome out. nothing special to be honest fire fox is way better . and also they really get to know everything about you

I tested Chrome for sometime but I uninstalled it later and switched back to firefox, Firefox is still best for us.

Here are a few for quick check -
There is no privacy, password protection options as in firefox. No add-ons for extra functioning. Pop-up blocker does not block every pop-up that appears. The versions are not compatible to load all the youtube videos.

There's no privacy ? this is the point that catches my eye.. When there's no privacy why would people use it ? and why does Google want to keep an eye on what people browse ? I remember visiting a flash video site with Chrome and it crashed saying that a Plugin crashed.

I used chrome for a short time but I switched back to IE quickly. I agree that it is only popular because of the name Google. It also doesn't have as many options as IE.

Well for me Chrome need some time to give us the equivalent comfort as Fiore Fox is giving. I am ready to compromise with the speed but I do not want to share my privacy with anyone.

Chrome is literally a browser and nothing more, whereas Firefox is riddled with add-ons and tools.
