Default Expiring Domains

I've made some decent money of buying domain names that are expiring fairly cheaply ($1-$2) from their owners before they expire and then renewing them and eventually selling them later. Only do this for quality names.

I have picked up a few PR 1-4 that people let drop, so for regg fee I could either flip it or develope. Its even better when you can find one with a lot of back links as well.

Well what is the best thing to look for? I have found some not so marketable domains with no page rank but 30 million backlinks 7 million google results and 13 million yahoo results. What would something like that be worth? On the other hand is it worth getting a domain that has a page rank in risks that it will lose it when you register it or it is already a fake page rank? It is a little risky in that part though I think

Good to hear that strategy works - I've been thinking of doing that for some time and might start doing just that.

The best I've gotten is a dropped domain of PR 2. I have talked to a few owners, but as soon as you talk to them. They realize their domain must be good and renew it asap! haha
