Links from forums?

Hello,

On one of the forums I frequent and where I have more than 1000 post I once placed a link to my website in my sig and after few months I noticed that Yahoo and MSN counted 100's of incoming links to my site but Google counted 0 incoming links! Does Google ignore links from forums?

Not too sure about this. but I think that to be counted in Google, that site needs to be a PR4 or higher? Anyway, it can't hurt your ranking to have links from forums

I think that you're right about this. Google is the only one with an algorithm that works this way.

I have round 2000 post at namepros and my site is at my signature but looks like google ignore that

I have a site which is http://www.moveinthecity.com/ and a link to it is placed in my sig in another forum. My profile there has 1000+ posts but google displays just around 10 of the pages I participated. I guess google does not too much of signature links.

google is just a tough indexer, yahoo and msn are easy, but believe it or not, google does count them as backlinks, they wont use that to index, but backlinks yes, i actually have the same problem, i have thousands of posts all over the net with my link in my sig, although i get some incomings from google, yahoo and msn beats google by thousands of links
