Inserting snippet code

Is there a script, or a way to insert a snippet of code into every html and php file in a folder automatically?

I don't want to make use of php include. I want the codes hardwritten individually into each page. Is there a way to do it?

It will help a little if you explain why you want to do this.

I can think of several reasons for wanting to do this -- and similarly, several different ways of accomplishing what you want. But instead of explaining all the different ways, I'd just like a better explanation of what you would like to do.

My guess is that you want to insert advertising into pages automatically? I could be wrong -- I just lie to try and guess things

That would depend. You might be able to do it if you want to insert the code at the end or the beginning of each file.
