Can yahoo beat google???

I don't think so....everyone is having google as their home page..it shows its popularity...so ...no way...what you say?

Not really. I don't think so. Google is brilliant and yeah, Yahoo is good too but I think Google will still be the best search engine in the years coming etc.

Yes yahoo may be good at email but google rulez in search engines.

Actually, Yahoo! has already beaten up google in some aspects. And one of the major aspect would be Alexa ranking.

According to alexa ranking statistics, Yahoo! is the world's most visited website. Standing on position 2 is MSN, followed by Google. So, effectively, and theoretically, Yahoo! has already beaten google in terms of visits.

However, in terms of services, innovation, and progress, Google is the industry leader.

So, you can never say whether either of them has beaten the other. Because both have their strengths and weaknesses in different aspects and areas

No way to beat. Google cannot be beaten by any of them. I can say Google provides all the appropriate things. Yahoo cannot overcome Google in any aspects. Google is the only leader.

I think Yahoo has recently offered unlimited mail storage trying to beat Gmail, but I doubt that'll change anythnig.

i donth think so that in the field of search engine it will ever beat it..but in rest fields like mailing and instant messaging etc,i think its on top

i agree its very difficult for yahoo to beat google as Google expanding its services with every passing day. Especially its difficult to compete with google advertising program (Adsense).
Yahoo is very slow in expanding its publisher network. also gmail is far better than yahoo mail.

I really can't see Yahoo beating Google in the short term. But in the long run who knows? They might come up with something that puts them at number one.
