Question

I was thinking about buying a dedicated server and I am not sure what I should get on it and was thinking that VPS would be better as I don't have much time to manage fixing up a dedicated server.

What is your suggestion?

If you are just starting the site and you have no idea on the bandwidth and you don't want to have to prep a server, than VPS is probably the right choice. You can always upgrade later.
