DOes any one know?

I heard that if you want to be listen in yahoo directory you should pay big money and its not worth it? Is it true? And if you know how much you shoul pay per year answer plz

well yahoo does ask for listing but if your site has content worth listing that you get automatically listed, so better suggestion for you from my side will be build your site.

They have two categories, commercial and non-commercial.

Commercial sites have to submit through Yahoo Submit and are subject to a fee to get expedited review. Then they may not get listed even if they are reviewed. While some sites could be considered commercial for selling ads, I don't think that is what they mean. If they did, almost no sites could be listed because almost all of them have some degree of ads. I think it's more sites specifically setup for products and services (lawyers, stores, etc).

Noncommercial sites can submit for free and hope they get listed. Again, if you want to pay the fee, you can get expedited treatment with the same lack of guarantee.
