How long do you take to build one?

Building a website may take a couple of months for me (not a static dull one, but complete with banners, search engine, images,etc,etc,etc) What is the most professional time to build one?

well that mainly depends on the no of pages that you wnat and what kind of contents that you want,
if you are using a lot of flash or ajax then time will be large but if you are working on HTML + serverside time will be less,

is it basically depends on numbr of pages + content in each page.

It depends of course on what kind of site and how long you put to it. If you got some friends who can help you than it would take less time.

The more time you spend on it, The more chances it has to becoming successful (if you used your time right). As everyone said, It all depends on what your developing.

If I know exactly what I want... I can build a site within a few days. If I have no clue or only a semi clue what I want... It could take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months.

A perfect web page can be build with in a month if we planned it how to do.The project
contains some procedures which should be followed.Procedures like project analysing,writing rough coding .Only those procedure will take much time.

It also depends on time you use creating your website.. But i normally do this about 3 weeks maybe a bit more / less.

I have created my site for a very long time perhaps 3 months because sometimes it's difficult to gather information and not so much skillful in creating a site, complicated sometimes
