Hosting companies and credit cards
I was wondering if a hosting company is asking for copies of our credit cards should be give it to them? I personally won't because it's too risky? What's your opinion on this?

Depends, if they want to verify this for security then yes. But tbh i wouldn't.
Where you put your ID is your risk, just use Paypal or a highly known payment gateway. Saves you sending your credit card number in plaintext/image that can be compromised in a number of ways.
