The idea was inspired by some successful internet marketer using own name as part of domain for example johnchow
Do you think it's a wise idea doing that since it will not help towards SEO purposes. |

Its good for personal blog where you share your experiences. It is also good for your portfolio if you are a domainer, webmaster, designer etc.
