sometimes the smaller se's spiders will index your site by following links from other sites..Im in alot of the smaller ones and ive never submitted to any of them

Submitting to small search engine will fetch you good results. One of my site is frequently visited by the bot and getting at least 300 unique visitors per month from it.

I would say that any search engine is good to submit to. It increases your chances of your site being found on the web.

They help index your site. Small search engines are aggressive in inviting spiders because that's their business. If you are on their list, it is a plus factor.

We should be taking every opportunity to promote our websites; even in small search engines. Like in kittyluver's situation, it paid off with 300 visitors per months.

If you have an option of a bigger search engine then probably you should not go for this one. But then, its never a bad idea submitting to a small search engine, it might give you some result at least.

all search engines are good, imagine, that you had a website that is pr1, its a basic and small website, and you think that its the best since you made it even if its small, its the same thing here, a website is a website no matter what size it is, a search engine is a search engine no matter what it is or what its name is
