which whois site do you use to find out the whois

I use whois.net, but I rarely use a whois search.

I prefer whois.sc for the extensions which it supports otherwise I use checkdomain.com (i think its not functional anymore)

The only time I buy domains is when I am looking to start a new site. I'm not really a domainer, more of a web developer.

i use iwhois.com. but i rarely use it as its not much needed to me

I vary from whois.sc but sometimes the extensions can't be found their so I switch to some of the other domain whois sites to get those results
