What do you look for in a host?
I look for good support, able to host a lot of domains, Fantastico, AWStats, lots of bandwidth, MYSQL, Perl and a lot more things as well. How about everyone else?

I Make sure the host is well know... i can get people to tell me if its good or not... they much have a nice website.. nice forum if its a free host and ect

I want some good space and bandwidth (NOT unlimited). I need php/mysql, access to phpmyadmin and FTP. I don't need cPanel that bad, but it's nice having it too. I need a good uptime and decent speed

I need a large ammount of space with a large ammount of bandwidth. I then expect to have mysql and php installed to the latest versions. Then I look into the host and look for surpport and uptime. I then search for reviews and look for a postive host with few complaints, hopefully none. I finally compare price and see which out of my top ten is the best priced.

I look for reliability. There have been times in the past that when I needed my website online for certain things like same day promotions, my hosts server was down from a hacker and I was loosing potential customers. From that moment I always go for the most reliable one even though it might be a bit more expensive than the rest
