Default Too many results.

When I'm on Google, I "Google" something and somtimes I get exactly what I want, other I go through page, after page, after page, until I get what I want. How do I get better, quicker results?

It takes practice, but you really have to be specific and detailed with your queries. And, try to think of related keywords that might mean the same thing.

it is actually a fine art to get the most out of search engines, id reccomend googling "how to use search engines" to find out more about how they work and how to get the most out of your time using a search engine.

If you are specific, you will find less sites than using a general query

I will also say try to be more specific, another good tip is to get into the habit of using the advanced search option, by defining more options it will bring you much more targetted results.

Hope that helps a bit.

"how to use search engines" is a good read if you want to have better working with google. Also try good keyword selection when placing the querie.

It may help if you search using keywords which the websites containing information you are looking for are likely to use.

It´s no magic. Go into the google filter and change the preferences.
If you are looking for a whole sentence the put these sign befor and after the last word. " text". that normally help get better results.

Best regards

In using search engines, it is best if you will be specific. Searching for a general word would display a lot of topics and you might find not-so-good results. I use the plus sign in between words when I am searching for two or more words that should come together.
