It all depends on the application and the amount you want to spend.
Personally I favour vBulletin because I am more familair with it and a lot of others are too. I'd say especially webmaster based forums. |

In my opinion vBulletin is better than IPB, but i'm not well know to IPB.

I much prefer vBulletin to IPB.
I have used both and I find lots of the things on IPB confusing when compared to vBulletin, like the Admin CP for example. |

I think that vBulletin would be the best choice. Pretty much has everything. IPB just doesn't look all that.

I am using vBulletin for 3 years now and I am not planing to change it to any other forum system. I just love vBulletin.

Vbulletin. Its the most popular among the paid forums softwares, havent seen or used alot of IPB forums.

VB because it is alot more customizable, and just has alot of those extra features that you would need in a forum.
