Vb can be used for many work. I use VB for a lot of automation work.

If your getting into VB and not the C++ wave, then remember to learn VB net. It can come in handy and integrates well with other apps

VB for some custom program changes like adopting it and including some new options. It has lot of potential but most of the people switch to other languages
