I am eagerly waiting Gpay

Google is about to release its own payment processor 'Googlepay' or Gpay which would be a competitor to paypal, as paypal is the sole big player in this field.

Hope both will give good service as the competition grows.

Haven't they already launched it with the name of "Google Checkout"? which is still in its beta phase. I don't know much about it because I don't use it yet.

I wish they had become a competitor to paypal but its seems google has skip the battle. If would had been great if Google had something same like paypal account.

Google is top of enough things, i hope that it never reaches the status of what Paypal has. I give it 5 years before Google owns the world and all taxes go to Google.

Not really. Google Checkout lets you pay with your own cc, but not store money in an account like paypal does.

Well maybe Google has a long turn plan for this, they must be aware that even microsoft couldn't do anything about paypal There are doing it slowly i think. Paypal is watching too it seems they recently made their country list bigger by adding more countries.

Paypal is only the best for now (and I honestly don't know why it's still the best). It mainly caters to people with credit cards and/or people with US bank accounts so I'm pretty sure that if there was another company willing to cater to everyone in every country, Paypal won't be as popular.

Besides, people have been complaining about the fees as well so there's more than just the location problem.
