paypal vs e-gold

Dear all,
I would like to have an general idea for the two.
I'm a freshman here.

What do you prefer between the two?
why?
Are there any advantages for each? and the disadvantages?

Pay pal is very widely accepted that's the real kicker. It also allows for credit cards if you update to the premium account.

Yep and also, egold is kinda confusing for some people ... they're using some gold and silver stuff which confuses me. Thats why I use PayPal.

I like paypal because like Chinasearchads said, it's widely accepted. I think transactions are a lot more straightforward with paypal compared with e-gold where you have to sign in your egold account (and I can't even remember my number) so using email addresses is a lot more convenient. Although the good thing with egold is that it's more convenient for people outside the US.

I think both of them are having their own advantages and disadvantages. I will go with e-gold.

Paypal is by far more developed and safer for buyers... egold doens't have chargeback...

paypal is good but in some cases egold is good

paypal is more authentic then egold but egold gets my vote caz of its global member acceptance and no kind of verification needed

only thing thats bad about egold is funding it

Paypal is better because it is recognized all over the internet. E-Gold is not very safe because incase of any mishap, fraud or scam, E-Gold people will not help you at all.
