Hosting video sites
I was wondering how much bandwidth and space is needed to host video heavy sites like youtube? I would imagine my hosting bill to be huge.

yes it has to be really big in terms of this kind of hositng. and your hosting must be ffmpeg capable or else your limited.

some hosts company provide unlimited bandwith now . i think this may help you more if you want a video host

some hosts are cheap and u can host a lot as u want...in youtube max 10minutes video can be posted i thinkk...but youtube is free

Honestly there are so many video sites that unless you have a great niche, I would recommend just staying away

there are more cheaper over the net well i'm planning to create one too in the future..
right now i'm looking at cirtex i think the have a good offer for this.. |

Dreamhost has like 200 gigs of storage and several terabytes of bandwith.. Maybe you should give them a shot
