Do you have any reason to prefer Yahoo to Godaddy When it comes to hosting ? I think YAhoo hosting is more pricey than Godaddys.

I say avoid both. Remember the old saying "Don't poop where you eat"? This applies with hosting. Do not host where you have your domain, if something happens and you get your account suspended from the host account, it also applies to your domain. I have seen friends lose their whole domain over a suspension from Yahoo and Godaddy. If they had a separate register than their host, they could have moved the domain and reloaded their site with a new host.

Once they suspend your account, you lose all access to the domain and host. Best advice is for you to find a separate hosting provider than where you have your domain held.

Well you are right 95%. I wouldn't use Godaddy or Yahoo for my websites. Not only that reason but also they don't have cpanel and also free stats like awstats. But for my corporate clients they are ok since you don't have much to bother since those sites are just their official websites most of the time. Also their uptime is really Good so i get less headaches from my clients.

They are basically more or less the same that don't offer cPanel. Try bluehost, I really love their service and customer support is excellent.

I think the hosting with both is very bad. I used a one month free hosting coupon on Godaddy and was very disappointed. I would stick to godaddy for domains and places like microsonic, hostrocket, and lunar pages for hosting.
