I would recommend "webhostingstuff" if you want to monitor your uptime for free. Plus, it lets you submit your hosting plans to advertise your services

I know their is a tool that many many web hosts have used on their sites to boast uptime etc. However the name of this tool is escaping me at the moment. Once I remember it I will send you a PM with the info.

Does Google Analytics let you monitor site uptime ? I'm looking for a free tool which would let me monitor uptime of my site and send a email if its down.
