well I just want to compile a list of companies that offer domain registration I know of
- namecheap - godaddy - enom - net4gold if you know of any other one pls feel free to add

There are so many different domain registrars that it isn't even funny. Whether they are well known or are owned by some little kid down the street, who knows...it isn't that hard to get certified by ICANN or whatever to own one.

I especially recommend enom.com and eurodns.com, lots of free services and excelelnt support quality, besides there are lots of hosts who offer both hosting and domain registration services.

I'd recommend SiberName.com as they are ICANN, CIRA and EURID-accredited. Moreover they offer shared web hosting solution as well.

I know that Ahosting.biz is a good registrar as well. Their prices haven't changed at all unlike the other domain registrar. It's a big plus to them.

Having a list is ok, but I still think Moniker is the best registrar by far.

- namecheap: They accept money form paypal, even unverified paypal account .

Enom.com - if you are in the USA, EuroDNS.com - if you are in Europe or want to register Europian country-specific domains.
