I think, http://www.smartftp.com is the FTP Client for me. I really liked the features and the easy management for the newbies. |

Using an FTP program
I use Smart FTP. And most ftp programs are very similar in nature but control panels different.The tutorial is meant to help those who are starting off with an FTP program.

i use fireftp.. its a small firefox plugin which allows us to do the job within a firefox tab

I prefer CuteFTP over SmartFTP for beginners. I use one for my laptop and the other for my desktop (don't ask why) for years, so I got used to both
 they're both excellent programs |

The only program i ever used for the FTP protocol is Cute FTP. Very nice software, rate it 10+
