Default Common domain name related terms including "push"

Heres my list of commonly used domain name terms that I wish I had known when I started out:

Register : The process of renting a domain by paying a yearly fee. Once you have registered a domain you can use the domain for your own site and you have first rights to renew it.

Registrar : Company that provides domain registration service.

REgistrant: Person or company that registers a domain.

transfer: Transfer domain to another registrar and possibly another registrant. This costs money but the recieving registrar (usually) adds one year to your domains expiry date.

Push: Handing over ownership of a domain to another registrant with the same registrar. This is usually free.
