Ever since the introduction of the iPod we've seen a ton of products that stick a lowercase 'i' in front of the name. This had got me thinking on why companies use this iMarketingStrategy - I come up with a couple of conclusions.
- Companies believe that consumers can relate the i to the iPod, thus being 'cool' - Companies believe that their product will follow the success of that of the iPod if they use the 'i'. Thoughts? ![]() |
