If you are using PHpLD script, do you prefer SEO friendly URLs (like used on my web directory or do you like them as original ones (.php?catid etc.

I like them better when they are SEO friendly, and so do search engines. I'd recommend to have them SEO Friendly.

I don't think Seo friendly urls matter much in a directory. The main reason being there are not any visitors from search engines to the directories. I may be wrong because I do not own one. But still, the main point of directories is their PR, which will be better only with backlinks.
