It seems that web site advertising is fast becoming a tricky art form. On-page
SEO is easy to achieve, but it's the Off-page SEO that is, as Google wants it to be, dictated by Google. There has always been the easier 0ff-page SEO performed for Yahoo and MSN (now Windows Live) that was done secondly, after attacking Google. But with recent acknowledgment of Google's hate for "purchased links", and how much more PR (PageRank) has become the standard before reciprocating a linkback, Google has taken control out of our hands and into it's own, making an attack most difficult. So am I bashing Google? Nope. Simply stating that we as web developers and website promotion experts that offer search engine optimization tips need to keep aware of the latest tactics. What do you think? Last edited by espmartin : 08-03-2007 at 19:55. Reason: info |
